Kouzina is Greek for kitchen and is a Mediterranean restaurant. it has just celebrated its seventh year, recieving many excellent reviews, most recently best of Boston, Boston magazine, and achieving four stars from Newton Magazine. Nelson and Joanna Cognac are the owners, participating both in the kitchen and dining room responsibilities. Nelson has numerous years of culinary experience; most recently he was executive chef of Harvest in Cambridge. He is classically trained in French and Mediterranean cuisine that he blends with the Greek heritage of his wife. Kouzina typifies the neighborhood restaurant offering delicious food for a reasonable price.
