Peter Deffet is a performing artist trained in classical opera, various styles of dance and theater techniques. He has studied with Mignon Dunn of the Metropolitan Opera, Kim Rubinstein, Brian Jeffrey, and Melody Ruffin-Ward, among many others. He is an artist-in-residence at Perishable Theatre for the 2006-07 season
